SEA-KLEAR to feature new product kits at
2002 International Pool & Spa Expo Exhibit
Kits speak to customer needs for simple pool and spa care

(Redmond, Washington) — SEA-KLEAR will showcase its new line of product kits designed to offer consumers a simple choice for managing pool and spa maintenance during the International Pool & Spa Expo, October 29 to November 1 at the Dallas Convention Center in Dallas, Texas.
"By combining effective, easy-to-use pool and spa care products in a kit, we're eliminating much of the guesswork for consumers, making it simple for them to select an integrated maintenance program," said Duane Dunk, vice president of water treatment at Vanson HaloSource, the maker of SEA-KLEAR. "This also gives dealers an effective way to sell customers on a range of powerful pool and spa care products - all in a single package."

The SEA-KLEAR kits contain all of the products and technical information that pool and spa owners need to manage three distinct maintenance areas: * Alternative Purifier Kit - Eliminates algae, bacteria and odor problems without the chemical odors or irritation sometimes caused by chlorine or bromine. SEA-KLEAR Alternative Purifier is an EPA-registered mineral-based alternative to chemical purifiers. * Spa Care Kit - Contains all the products needed for complete spa care: SEA-KLEAR 4-in-1 Clarifier, Chlorine-Free Shock, Self-Floccing Defoamer, pH UP and pH DOWN, spa and pool test strips and chlorine granules or bromine. * Winterizing Kit - Includes the total package to properly close down pools in fall and eliminate the hassle of dealing with algae and other organic contaminants in the spring. The kit contains SEA-KLEAR 4-in-1 Clarifier for Pools, Chlorine-Free Shock and 3-Month Algaecide.

The Alternative Purifier and Spa Care Kits also are available to retailers in new shelf and display racks designed to support sales efforts of featured products. In addition to introducing the kit-based product displays at the Expo, SEA-KLEAR will unveil dealer store displays that feature individual bottles of its leading pool and spa care products such as 4-in-1 Clarifier, 3-Month Algaecide and Zero-Phos.
The new product kits and dealer displays will be available at the SEA-KLEAR booth, No. 4413.
