Investors Origo Sino-India and Origo Resource Partners Limited, in conjunction with Unilever Technology Ventures, commit $11.5 million to further commercialize HaloPure technology.

HaloSource establishes operations and manufacturing facility in China and begins exports from India to Latin America.

HaloPure drinking water disinfection technology presented globally at commercial and academic venues including AquaTech Shanghai, AquaTech Amsterdam, World Water Week and IWA World Water Congress.

HaloSource partners with Clorox to incorporate HaloShield technology into their FreshCare Kitchen and Utility Towels launched nationwide in the US via WalMart.

 
  2007 Investments made by Unilever Technology Ventures and Masdar Clean Tech Fund, led by Abu Dhabi Investment Authority together with Credit Suisse, Seimens and Consensus Business Group totalling $21million.
 
  2006 Vanson HaloSource, Inc., begins doing business as “HaloSource” as part of a new brand strategy focus.
 
  2005 Vanson HaloSource receives a $5 million round of funding from Mars, Inc.
 
  2004 Vanson HaloSource and Medline sign a contract to license HaloShield for odor-control incontinence pads.
 
  2003 Vanson HaloSource inks a deal to license HaloShield to Medline for use in hospital linens and scrubs
 
  2002 Company known as Vanson HaloSource formed via the merger of Vanson Inc. and HaloSource Corp. after closing $9 million in equity. The round was led by Seattle venture capital fund Alexander Hutton Venture Partners. Montlake Capital, Britannia Holdings, Ltd. and a small group of individual investors also participated in the round.
 
  2001 HaloSource Corporation is named one of the top 25 private companies in the Northwest.
     
    Scale-up and plant trials of HaloSource’s HaloPure core chemistry are conducted.
 
  1999 HaloSource Corporation received venture capital investments to commercialize core antimicrobial technology in the fields of water disinfection and infectious disease control.
 
  1998 HaloSource Corporation was founded in Seattle, Washington, and secured worldwide licenses to patented core N-halamine technology from Auburn University and the University of California.
 
  1997 Vanson Associates Limited Partnership was incorporated as Vanson, Inc., in the state  of Washington.
 
  1995 Vanson Associates Limited Partnership was formed to purchase selected assets back from DCV.
 
  1988 DCV, a DuPont/Con Agra jointly owned company, acquired certain assets of MCR.
 
  1982 MCR Chitosan Associates Limited Partnership was formed to build a chitin-processing plant in Raymond, Washington.
